Who is Jade Cox?
Jade is a 22 year old Certified Distiller from Derbyshire, England who uses her knowledge of spirits to spread down to earth, genuine reviews and advice about her experiences with products and the industry at large.
Her priorities are about being informative, as well as entertaining to those who listen to her. Above all else, however, she’s honest about the views and opinions that she shares. She knows that if she speaks her true views, she can always elaborate on them if someone were to inquire!
About Her Journey and Mission
Jade fell in love with the industry by accident at aged 20, working in a night club in Nottingham to support her studies in psychology. Although almost every part of the job was emotionally taxing, the intrigue of learning more about the alcohol was the only saving grace for her; ironic given she didn’t drink at the time!
Over the course of 2 years she has gone out of her way to gain experience working in a variety of bars, from simple pubs to high end restaurants, and took every spare second she had to learn more about every bottle she could get her hands on, as well as the distilling industry at large. Now she has a General Certificate in Distilling, is eyeing up a Bourbon Sommelier Certification, and is looking to break out into the industry with a bang!
Stillhaven is a collection of the efforts she’s made to spread her passion and knowledge with others along this journey, be it reviewing spirits, distillery tours, or simply giving buyer’s advice for the average joe! Jade is a highly motivated rising star to keep an eye on for sure, for who knows where she’ll end up next!
