The Guillotine – Glen Moray – Single Malt Scotch Whisky – Original

An introduction to the concept I use to keep my collection rotating: the Guillotine! Currently it's filled with Glen Moray, ready to be "executed"!

No review this week, instead I thought I would introduce a concept I use for helping to ensure regular rotation of my stock of spirits! I present: the Guillotine!

The Guillotine is a decanter I use exclusively for spirits that are due to be removed from my stash for one reason or another, such as them sticking around too long, not being used much in drinks I make for guests or me just not particularly liking them much. The idea is that if I or anyone else wants a drink, but doesn’t particularly mind which, we reach for the Guillotine!

The spirit in this bottle is one I actually quite enjoy, Glen Moray Original, an affordable Speyside, but one that doesn’t sacrifice flavour for the price! The only reason it’s in the Guillotine is that, although good for the price point, I’ve almost always had a whisk(e)y in the stash I would sooner have over Glen Moray, and as a result I’ve had it for roughly a year and need to replace it!

I will post an update whenever the Guillotine has a new head to roll, next time accompanied by the appropriate bottle alongside the decanter to boot! (Also excuse my dog, he was curious what I was doing!)

This review’s recommended song is: “Carry Me” – The Levellers
