On January 17th of this year, something special happened. A football game was played between Worcester City F.C. and Stamford AFC, a match in which a particular company was launched; a company by the name of CrownWorks!
Yes, the secret project I’ve been working on for a few months now is finally starting to roll out! CrownWorks is a brand new company that will soon grow into it’s own distillery!
For some context, back in October 2025 I was approached by two men (Jake Harley and Tom White) who are the owners and founders of a company named Dacecrown, a Birmingham based company who’ve made the machinery used for bottling and labelling within the drinks industry for years. After so long around the spirits industry, they took an interest in branching out into the world of spirit creation, and wanted to bring me on board to help make the dream a reality.
Here we are, months down the line, and with the beginnings of what that distillery will be! CrownWorks has big plans lined up for what it will become, but we’re keeping a lot of that under wraps for now. What has been released however is something we will be selling alongside our spirits: Coffee!
Locally roasted and specially chosen to pair with the liquor we plan to make in future, our coffee is something we are really proud of! We’ve started with our signature bean: Popyán, a Columbian washed bean that is perfect for espresso style coffee (though I personally like it as a pour-over too)! We’ve released this as both a standard and decaf variant.
There is plenty more to come, with both more coffee varieties and, of course, the spirits we intend to make, but we still need more time to get our work in order before they’ll all be ready! We plan to release our first spirits in the upcoming spring, so get excited!

A lot about the site, as well as the product packaging, is in the early stages and will be refined over time. We were just too excited to release what we’d made! We hope that the flavour speaks for itself, and that you’ll keep a close eye on what we do going forward!
