Meet Volare Banana, a rather niche liqueur, but the company itself is very widely used in the industry as they have so many different liqueurs under their belt! They may not be the top shelf option, but they’ll always get the job done.
This particular bottle only really has one true competitor, in the form of Giffard, however for what it is this liqueur works fine. The only issue for me is that its application is very slim.
I only got this bottle as a favour to my aunt who loves a particular cocktail called the “Dirty Banana” (think fruitier Piña Colada), and while she loves the cocktail, I only make it maybe twice a year, at maximum. So I think it’s time to say goodbye to Volare Banana, as it steps up to the chopping block that is The Guillotine!
